Where is Windows?

We have a lot of requests for Windows and many people are
wondering why it is taking so long.

I've decided to let you all in on a secret: Far Out Labs is a one
person company. I handle all
aspects of the business and unfortunately when sales get very
low I am forced to take small
contract jobs to make up the lost income.

The problem lately is that every time a new version of iOS gets
jailbroken my sales go from about
one copy a day of the full version to zero. As it is now we have
not sold a single copy of ProRemote
in over three weeks due to widespread pirating of ProRemote.
As a result I am forced to look for
contract work so that I can feed my family and this will again
delay Windows and other ProRemote
features in general. (we have a lot planned still for ProRemote!)

I have tried to lower the price of the full version from $150 to
$80 from listening to our customers.
I even created a light edition so people could pay for only the
features they need. ProRemote LE
costs 10 bucks but after a 30% cut from Apple I only receive
seven dollars for each copy of
ProRemote LE. Since I no longer sell the full version [as it is
available on every pirate site you can
think of] I no longer make a living working on this product.

I am not sure when we will finish Windows support as I don't
know how much longer we will be in
business. I assure you that I am working on a new Windows
driver right now and I hope it sees the
light of day.

While I don't expect anyone to really care about our situation
and I'm not really asking anything different from anyone
(people will
always pirate software), I think it is only fair to let our paying
customers know why there is a delay.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.
