ProTools 12 connectivity

on a mac, running sierra 10.12.5, and PT version 12.7.0

I've been able to set up as an HUI and I see it connect, and
see what's happening in PT mirroring on my iphone 6s app,
but am unable to actually control from my phone. I'm getting
the following error message:

"ProTools is unable to communicate with HUI. Power-Cycle
HUI and check its connections. Note, if HUI is not in use,
update the Peripherals dialog to prevent further warnings."

I've power cycled and attempted to reconnect but am having
no luck! Any ideas?

Typically this is easy to solve if you send us your log file so we can
see what the problem is. Please contact our tech support so we can
get you squared away.

I have just bought ProRemote LE and am having the same
connection problems with the same Power-Cycle HUI message.
Did you ever get resolved. It's been a few months and it sounds
like others will have experienced the same issue.

I am running on OS Yosemite 10.10.5 and Pro Tools 12.4 and
Logic Pro 10.2.4 and I am experiencing connection problems as
well after going through the instructions. Will there also be an
update to the skins for the DAWs used as well?

We recently decided to stop supporting older versions of MacOS X.
As such I would suggest making sure that the ProRemoteServer is
running and that you’ve properly configured your DAW. A tiny mistake
in setup will result in non-functionality.

If your iPhone or iPad is connecting to your Mac than you know the
server is running. If you can connect but get a HUI error, it means
that the ProRemote MIDI Driver is not configured properly.

Recently Apple changed the way logging works so ProRemoteServer
no longer emits log messages making it very difficult to troubleshoot
these sorts of problems. Try the steps above or search this forum for
other tips.
