Hello,

I don't have a current copy of Cubase and Steinberg has
ignored all my requests for an NFR copy. Perhaps someone
in this forum can help you with the specifics.

I can tell you generally how to do the setup (but this is based
on the Windows version of Cubse). You need to find the
control surfaces setup window. In there you can press an
"add" button that will allow you to choose what type of
surface to add. You will select Mackie Control and assign
both the input and output to ProRemote Port 1. For 32
channels you need to repeat this process and add 3 more
Mackie Controls, each one pointing to its own port. i.e.
Mackie Control #2 -> ProRemote Port 2, etc...

Hope this helps, sorry I can't be more specific. Once I get a
copy of Cubase we will add a skin for it and support it
officially...

i'm attempting to beta test 2. and
everytime i tell the devices to use
"mackie controls" as mentioned. the
cubase program does and fatal error and
closes. the only way to prevent this is
to remove the mackie control devices
before opening a session.

any way to fix this issue?

I guess no one knows the answer. There isnt much I can do without
a crashlog or being able to reproduce it myself. We certainly won't
release a product with crashbugs in it so I'm interested in finding out
what could be causing the crash.
