Protransport with other Control Surface Date: Jan 22, 2010 12:48:24 PM PST Author: dan I'm having an issue with Protransport while using a Project Mix at the same time. It seems that after installing Protransport I lose the bank left/right controls on my Projectmix. If I delete the 4 Mackie Devices I added for Protransport the bank left/right for my Projectmix are immediately available again. So I can say for sure the Protransport is interfering with the Projectmix. Is there any parameter in the setup that I can change to allow them all to be used at the same time? FYI the same issue with the Proremote LE I just purchased   Reply to this Post

In Logic you can either group the control surfaces together (and create a giant surface) or separate the surfaces so they act like mirrors of each other. I was having all the above mntioned problems with my ProjectMix until I discovered the secret of grouping control surfaces in Logic. Here's what the manual says: To use two control surfaces independently Choose Logic Pro > Preferences > Control Surfaces > Setup to open the Control Surfaces Setup window. In the Setup window, arrange the icons for the control surfaces in separate rows—that is, one above the other. Works like a charm for me.   Reply to this Post
